*knock knock*...anyone home?

Life is all about a good balance.
*waves*!? Is anyone still out there?

Better question...does anyone even blog anymore?!?

I used to spend so many hours pouring over this blog, and catching up with a very long list of other blogs. Admittedly, I haven't kept up with my blog list, so I'm doubtful there's anyone out there still coming to this one. If you read this, pop me a comment to say hello and let me know where you're from, and what brought you here. Maybe I'll dust this 'ol thing off and get back to posting. Maybe I'll send it to a cyber grave and leave well enough alone.

The picture I've included today is one I took myself last summer. I've been very much into collecting sea glass. The adventure of the hunt itself to find the sea treasures is one thing, but the peace and solitude that comes with digging my toes into the sand and hearing the sound of the roaring waves is the biggest part of why I do it. The idea of how something that once had razor-sharp edges eventually, with enough time and patience, gets smoothed over and softened is a true testament that if one is strong enough to withstand the waves, one will eventually come out better for it in the end. Wherever you are, I hope you're standing tall in your own waves.

~ peace.
